TWENTY-ONE HOURS in the LIFE of a WOMAN by STEFAN ZWEIG
The book named Twenty-Four Hours in the Life of a Woman by Stefan Zweig tells us a story of 24 hours, a delayed confession and human passions and obsessions that a sixty-seven-year-old woman could not tell to anyone and forget . On the one hand, it is the story which about the question of the perception of morality and crime expressed in a women's life the relationship of desire with good and evil.
The woman, who has a regular and ordinary marriage, remains alone with her loneliness after the death of her husband and goes to Monte Carlo to fill the void within herself with the speed and unrest of the outside world. The casino is the place where she experiences her illusion that she will leave the things inside her (feelings, questions, thoughts) and fill it with new ones.
When you run into people who say "we don't have time to read books", you should strongly recommend this book !! It's 100 pages long, fits into a trouser pocket, and very easy to read. For those who haven’t read Zweig before, this would be a pretty good place to start to ease you into his world.
